Jolly Phonics Sounds
Sounds covered so far:
s, a, t, i, p, n, ck, e, h, r, m, d, g, o, u, l, f, b, ai, j, oa, ie, ee/or, z, w, ng, v, oo/ oo, y, x, ch, sh, th, qu, ou, oi, ue, er, ar
**All the Jolly Phonics sounds have now been covered but it's still very important that they are revised on a weekly basis. These sounds form the foundation of your child's reading.
Reading Record
Read the new story with your child and complete the 'My Favourite Part' on one page of the copy.
Extra Sheets
The children have a sheet to practice writing their names in cursive writing. They should try to copy a few names every night. The sheet can be completed over two weeks. The children will also get a worksheet to complete by the Thursday. This will be either handwriting/ Jolly Phonics or maths
